Satiate and savor in a stylish setting
Brabo Tasting Room, a 43-seat casual eatery, serves light fare and an assortment of fine wines and Belgian beers. Named for a hero from Belgian lore, the venue blends the rustic with the modern and the Continental with the colonial, in a 150-year-old building adjacent to Old Town Alexandria’s Lorien Hotel.
Crafted by Executive Chef Robert Wiedmaier and Chef de Cuisine Harper McClure, the innovative menu of sociable café fare is anchored by traditional Belgian cuisine and enhanced by the seasonal bounty of the region. Diners rave about Chef’s signature mussels, charcuterie, and artisanal cheese platters as well as pizzas and savory tarts wood-fired in the brick oven. Guests grab a seat at the handcrafted, 11-seat zinc bar or in the revamped dining room, or our outdoor patio.
