My perfect day is spent out on the water- hop on a Potomac river cruise at the marina in Old Town for a different perspective on the sights.

Grab a bike from the hotel and hit the Mt. Vernon Trail. It runs along the Potomac down to G Washington's Estate, or you can head north and ride right into DC!

One of my secret spots in Alexandria is Mint Condition. It's a fantastic consignment store with the best designer clothes and accessories!
